In 1990, he founded The Orchard Group, providing marketing and consulting services for accountants, attorneys and financial managers as well as personally managing insurance portfolios for wealthy families.

Jeff is a third generation insurance professional. Both of his grandfathers were in the business and his father started G.M. Goldman & Associates, Inc. in 1968. After starting his career with Northwestern Mutual Life in 1987, Jeff joined G.M. Goldman & Associates, Inc. in 1989 and works exclusively with clients in the 50-85 range. Instead of addressing the problem of his clients dying too soon, he is now dealing with a whole new set of issues. These clients are faced with the possibility of going through a lifetime of savings to pay for a long term nursing home stay. They are dealing with the problem of relying on their children to take care of them. They are looking at the very expensive proposition of hiring someone to take care of them in their own home. Jeff discovered a passion for Long Term Care insurance to assist his clients’ problems of requiring assistance in their later years.
